Astrolith
METHOD

How Astrolith calculates.

The math

We compared planet positions with NASA JPL Horizons data at 600 points between 1879 and 2050. The largest difference was less than 1/200 of a degree.

House cusps match a professional reference in six house systems. The math runs offline on your phone, and you can adjust your birth time as often as you like.

The sky calendar and the Big Three calculator on this site are compiled from the app’s own calculation layer; for the same moment they give the same result.

“Why this?”

Every reading has a “Why this?” underneath. The plain explanation comes first: the Moon in the sky and your natal Venus are 90 degrees apart.

Or go on to the technical details: the aspect’s name and orb, the exact time and the house. No sentence comes without a reason.

If your birth time is unknown

Without a time the rising sign and houses cannot be calculated. The app says so and limits time-dependent readings to match.

What it is not

Astrolith does not predict the future or foretell events. It reads the sky like a calendar and gives you a language for observing yourself.

Where your data stays

No sign-up needed. Your birth details and readings stay on your phone, and the app works in airplane mode.

An optional account adds an encrypted backup only you can open. Analytics run only if you allow it. Export or delete it all at any time.
